An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Support Medical Secretary within the Heart Centre admin at The University Hospitals of the North Midlands Trust (UHNM) County Site

This is an exciting post for someone with Medical secretarial experience. Previous experience of working within a Medical Secretary environment is essential.

The post holder will need to demonstrate good communication skills, flexibility, reliability and have an organised approach to work. Working as part of a team of Medical Secretaries, you will support with the management of waiting lists, typing of clinical letters, theatre scheduling, clinic utilisation along with daily office duties as required by the clinical team.

The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway.

The post will be based at County Hospital but may require cross site working and there may be a need for the post holder to travel between Royal Stoke University Hospital (Stoke-on-Trent) and the County Hospital (Stafford) sites.
