We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team.

You will be a proactive and methodical individual who possesses excellent communication skills. You will have an attention to the finer details with the ability to work well as part of a team, with a proven track record of working with colleagues and dealing with incoming customer and supplier queries. The successful candidate will have the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
The role involves:
- Assisting with the preparation of weekly payroll
- Involvement in credit control processes
- Maintaining the internal accounts filing
- Analysing purchasing card activity
- Updating and maintaining accurate records on internal systems
- Maintaining the Purchase Ledger
- Create cost analysis reports for other departments
- Maintain financial policies throughout the company
- Keep track of accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Assisting the Finance Manager with all appropriate accounting duties, including the preparation of VAT Returns and ad hoc financial reporting.
Qualifications and skills requirements:
Knowledge of QuickBooks or similar accounting system is essential.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Great knowledge of Excel and Excel functions
Incredible attention to detail to catch the error.
Great organizational skills
Good knowledge of accounting practices
Ability to work independently and on a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
