Job description
Our client is in the forex education industry, they are hiring for a finance assistant to help and work alongside the CFO. The finance assistant will be an active operator within a matrixed leadership structure.
Main responsibilities:
- Issuing invoices and receipts to clients
- Assisting with bookkeeping
- Reporting to the CFO
- Being in contact with colleagues across the world, making the job more enjoyable
- Updating account information and records of clients
The successful candidate will have the following desirable skills:
- Strong accounting knowledge and experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working at a technology or services-based firm.
- Strong working knowledge of Xero is a must if not, experience in QuickBooks or other web-based accounting software may be an exception.
- Comfortable using Excel and Google Sheets, Google Sheets should be learnt within 3 months of hire if you are not familiar with it already
- Comfortable using and learning new tools
- Strong bookkeeping experience is a must, high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills are need
