Job description
The BTO is looking for a Finance Assistant to take on a varied accounts role consisting of day to day coding and inputting of accounting transactions, and providing support and cover for purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll and reception as required. We are looking for someone with excellent book-keeping and inputting skills, with high standards of accuracy and the ability to work flexibly as part of a team to achieve tight deadlines. Bookkeeping/Accounting qualifications would be desirable, but not essential.
This is a great opportunity to join a small, friendly team and fantastic charity. The role is part time, working 20 hours over the course of the working week. The working pattern is flexible and can be discussed with the successful candidate, but the core hours of 12.30- 2pm, Monday to Friday must be covered.
This position is based at our HQ in Thetford, Norfolk, although you will be able to work from home part of the time on a hybrid working regim, where this meets business needs.
