Our Finance Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join our Accounts team, developing your accounting, analytical and problem-solving skills in a friendly team environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong pro-active skills, thrive in a fast-paced setting and feel confident communicating with colleagues across the organisation. You will possess a fundamental understanding of book-keeping and accounting procedures and hold the time-management skills necessary to effectively prioritise and manage your workload.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to:
- Hold a strong understanding of Purchase Ledger functionality in our accounting system Navision
- Analyse, code with accuracy and obtain appropriate sign off on invoices for both purchases and overheads
- Record invoices onto our Navision accounting system across multiple vendors and currencies
- Contact suppliers for statements and missing invoices.
- Liaise with other departments to ensure sign off does not delay processing of invoices
- Allocation of overheads to relevant cost centres
- Help our Finance Team with nominal postings as required
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Either a university degree or recognised qualification in bookkeeping/accounting
- Good verbal and written communication
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- A desire to work as part of a team and to help it achieve its goals
- The ability to evaluate, prioritise and balance your own workload
- Excellent computer skills, particularly Excel
- Be pro-active, a good problem solver and want to grow and develop your accounting and system knowledge
- Previous experience of Navision would be advantageous
- Enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced environment
Working Pattern - This role is 37.5 hours per week (9am – 5.30pm), Monday to Friday
Work Location – Our London office is based in Clerkenwell and we are currently operating a hybrid working policy

OFFER - The appointed candidate will be given the below package:
- A salary between £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
