Project Manager Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the contract(s) with the aid of Project Managers, Project Engineers, Quantity Surveyors and Planning Manager
- Attend pre-contract meetings in conjunction with senior commercial staff
- Attend site meetings and produce contract status reports
- Work closely with the client to further develop and promote the company, engage with potential clients to build relationships, and work as a key member of the bid team.
- Approve and maintain construction programmes.
- Secure labour and sub-contractors for the project
- Review systems and methods when required to improve contract performance
- Produce health and safety plans with overall responsibility for site health and safety
- Promote and comply with the Company’s policies on equality and health and safety both in the delivery of service and the treatment of others.
- Engage with your manager in reviewing your performance and planning your development.
- Carry out other duties consistent with the nature, responsibilities and seniority of your post.
- Supervise, train, plan, organise, schedule, assign, review and evaluate the work of staff
Project Manager Requirements:
- HND qualification (or equivalent) in an engineering subject essential
- Health & Safety Qualification such as SMSTS, Nebosh etc. desirable
- Experience in Drainage, Water, Gas
- Strong communication and organisational skills
