Adamson Construction is seeking a full-time Finance Assistant to work within a friendly, family run company, in a busy office environment. You will be dealing with a variety of tasks to support the Financial Controller.

Primary responsibilities will include:
- Answering accounts telephone calls and email queries
- Processing subcontractor and purchase ledger invoices
- Supplier payment preparation and statement reconciliations
- CIS returns, IR35 and PQQ documentation
- Petty cash and credit card reconciliations
- Sales invoicing
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliation
- Cashflow forecasting
- Preparation of month end accounting
- Preparation of VAT Returns
Requirements:
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Flexible and able to prioritise, good under pressure
- A basic level of accounts knowledge, ideally AAT Level 2 or above
- Respectful
- Reliable
- Honest
- Good organisational skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft packages (word and excel)
- Able to use own initiative and work independently
- Ideally knowledge of the construction industry

Salary range £30,000 - £35,000 DOE
