Salary: Up to £29,000

Type: Fixed-Term Contract (9months)

As the accounts assistant you will be joining a progressive and straightforward thinking employer with a wealth of experience, who pride themselves on the reputation they’ve established.
Our client are expanding and evolving, and need a highly motivated Accounts Assistant to join their team and play a crucial role in the day-to-day financial operations. As the Accounts Assistant, you'll be supporting the Finance Director and assisting with various accounting functions alongside a team of 3.
The Role & Responsibilities of the Finance Assistant
- Reconciling supplier statements
- CIS Payments and returns
- Raising and processing purchase orders
- Raising invoices on Xero
- Submissions of remittances
- Weekly and Monthly Bank reconciliation
- Matching suppliers’ invoices (PO’s, delivery notes, etc.)
- Entering suppliers’ invoices onto Xero
- Generating creditors reports
- Processing credit applications
Requirements of the Finance Assistant
- The ideal candidate will have experience of working as an accounts assistant within a busy environment XERO experience is essential
- CIS experience is preferred but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract

Salary: Up to £29,000.00 per year
