Finance Apprentice

We are looking for a Finance Apprentice, who would like to start their career and join our London Finance team in an exciting new role to support a dynamic, fast-growing business.
- Month and Year End processes – posting and analysis of company costs, working with the UK finance team to facilitate the understanding of the cost base of the business
- Audit assistance – serving as contact point for the annual statutory audit for expense queries
- Accounts Payable – responsible for the supplier invoice process, from recording in the system, managing the approvals process and raising payments
- Staff Expenses – responsible for the staff reimbursement process, analysing employee expense claims for relevant business expenditure and managing the approvals process
- Bank Reconciliation – reconciling bank statements to the accounting software and resolving any issues which may arise in a timely manner
- Client Project Administration – assist with creation of client projects in our accounting software, including liaising with partners and external stakeholders
- Previous admin / finance related experience would be desirable
- A strong commitment to developing a career in Finance, including the desire to study for the ACCA / CIMA Level 7 apprenticeship
- Three A levels (or equivalent), including one in mathematics, business studies or economics is a plus
- Experience with the Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Conscientious and detail orientated
- Strong organisational and prioritising skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communicator
- Ability to work flexibly in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort dealing with stakeholders at all levels
