Applications are invited for a full-time post as a Contracts and Finance Officer for the Centre for Pharmacy Postgraduate Education, School of Health Sciences, Division of Pharmacy and Optometry. You will be a member of the Faculty finance team working under the guidance the Head of School Finance based in the Stopford Building at the University of Manchester.
The post holder works as part of the CPPE Team to ensure appropriate management of contracts, records and finance support functions within CPPE. The role supports the business by ensuring value for money in planning, delivery, commissioning and services. The role is designed to build a combination of subject matter expertise and technical skills to develop a strong service.
The post holder will also report into the national pharmacy team at Health Education England on contract expenditure and other reporting requirements using data provided by the CPPE management accountant
The post holder is customer focused, flexible in approach, and will show initiative in order to develop and enhance the role.
As contracts administrator for CPPE, the post holder links with the CPPE management accountant and HEE colleagues to assure that all reports required to assure financial probity for our contract oversight board are prepared on time. They liaise effectively with colleagues within University of Manchester. This is a proactive position that is essential for good management of the business.
