Role: Business Analyst
Fixed Term Contract for 24 Months
Reporting To: Head of Business Transformation
PURPOSE OF ROLE
We are currently in-flight with ‘Paragon’ – Our business transformation programme, as such we are looking for a BA to join our team.
Working closely with Project Managers and the Head of Business Transformation you will help map and manage the change process in specific operational and business areas.
As a BA you will proactively work with business stakeholders to understand their needs and help the business to make sense of complex processes and procedures. Working across muti-disciplined teams, you will produce the ‘As Is’ analysis and help to shape the ‘To Be’ process in line with the Paragon blueprint
Ideally you will have you delivered business process reengineering as a part of a wider organisational transformation programme
You will support the collection of business requirements and work with the teams across the business to define scope and report on change delivery. You will need to work collaboratively and bring together the right people from across the business to make delivery happen.
Summary of Responsibilities and Personal Duties:
1. Work closely with key business stakeholders across the three divisions of Lampton services to map the ‘As is’ organisational processes and help identify ‘To Be’ process as a change solution.
2. Express these processes (As Is and To Be) as user journeys.
3. Support the delivery of business critical change projects
4. To create compelling solutions for change in line with Lampton Services’ 5 year business plan
5. Perform analysis of key business challenges, potential growth areas, and develop in conjunction with business areas, solutions to solve them.
6. Work in partnership with Directors, Heads of Service, Service Managers and Key Stakeholders to organise and run requirements workshops.
7. Capture the information, and deliver clear business change workshops/presentations
8. Create project diagrams, including Business Process Models, Wireframes (where needed), user stories and use cases.
9. Reporting to the Head Of Business Transformation you will articulate key analysis findings and prepare regular updates in line with the wider programme.
10. Provide wider evidence to the Paragon Steering Committee that the requirements have been delivered, and goals have been achieved.
Build relationships with the operational departments, across all divisions.
Some Attributes We would like to see:
1. Experience as a Business Analyst in a Change Environment.
2. Experience of organising and running workshops.
3. Knowledge of the housing sector or other local government departments
4. Experience working on organisational transformation projects
5. Have knowledge of BPRM/Project methodologies such as Lean Prince 2 Agile
6. Understand and maintain RAID logs
7. A Diploma in Business Analysis or higher degrees as well as any industry recognised qualifications go a long way to show your abilities.
