Our company is searching for an experianced Accounting Assistant to utilise their knowledge of technology in order to collect and process financial information, create reports and provide support to our stakeholders in the UK & Spain. The Accounting Assistant must be able to multitask effectively, communicate with everyone in the organisation, and be familiar with reporting software. The ideal candidate for this position can work well under pressure, is reliable and has a natural aptitude for learning new things.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a wide variety of accounting tasks that are clerical and routine in nature.
- Accurately transcribe numerical data from documents to computer spreadsheets.
- Perform a wide variety of administrative duties including working with HR to collate and send payroll data for our Spanish entity
- Create a variety of reports using Microsoft Office.
- Ability to support the preparation of month-end reporting pack
- Perform basic accounting functions such as making journal entries and posting transactions to the general ledger.
- Utilize basic Microsoft Office products to ensure that accounting documents are completed accurately. This includes Microsoft software including Microsoft Excel- Pivot Tables, V look ups, Word, PowerPoint and Access.

Salary: £27,495.00-£32,500.00 per year
