Our mission is to give CEO’s and CFO’s of financial institutions easily accessible data about their business. Our target customer base is credit unions and banks and our solution is tailored to their specific business and regulatory reporting needs. As a result of our deep industry knowledge, we have developed our software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution in such a way that we can quickly configure to our clients’ needs and easily onboard their data. Job Purpose
Having just completed a partnership agreement in the US, which includes distribution channels for our solution, we will be growing our footprint in the US considerably over the next 3 years. In addition to this growth, we are building our commercial capacity in new territories and markets. So we will be looking to grow significantly.
As a result of this, we are hiring a Finance Analyst, reporting to the Programme Manager, to support us through this next stage of growth. One of the strategic advantages of our BI solution is the speed and simplicity with which our clients can be onboarded, and this role is solely focused on configuring our software and guiding our clients through their implementations.
The Finance Analyst will be responsible for implementing and configuring the BankBI system during the client onboarding process. You will be involved in multiple projects across multiple clients and you will need to deliver quality outputs on time. You are highly organised and have an eye on the detail whilst staying sufficiently high-level and agile to get client input/support to keep projects on time.
You are natural at stakeholder management actively building collaborative relationships with end clients to keep these stakeholders fully engaged and supportive through the process. You will be looking at ways that we can improve our client onboarding to reduce time and increase quality to simplify or improve the customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working with CFOs and finance managers within client organisations.
- Configuring the BankBI software using the client's own general ledger data.
- Training clients to take ownership of the maintenance and reports within the BankBI software when the software is live.
- Helping clients to adopt the BankBI software by helping them through their first few financial month-end close processes using the software.
- Ensuring that the client's financial performance reports are accurate and that the balance sheet balances.
- Working with the client to identify stakeholders that should be added as users of the software.
Requirements
You will have:
- 3+ years of experience working within a finance department within a retail bank, building society, or equivalent financial institution.
- Experience implementing finance systems and working with chart of accounts data in general ledger systems.
- Experience and understanding of balance sheet and income statement/ P&L data, closing finance month-end and using finance data to create management reports.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to host online web meetings with clients around the world when required.
- Intermediate Excel skills and enjoy working with data in Excel to create solutions.
- Strong relationship & stakeholder management skills.
