What’s it all about?
Visa is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Revenue Operations team to deliver key prioritises.
The Financial Analyst will be part of the Controllership team (Revenue Operations) and will support the team who are fully accountable for the completeness, accuracy and timeliness of all Europe’s revenue, accounts receivables, and balance sheet account reconciliations.

What we expect of you, day to day
- Own segments of gross revenue accounting, billing and collection processes. This includes preparation of information required for monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes such as preparing manual entries and journals, BS reconciliation, BS flux and subsequent event reporting
- Processes monthly billing by working with service owners to ensure billing files are accurate, timely and complete for audit review.
- Business partner with upstream owners such as the client services team to manage billing queries
- Support simplification, standardization and continuous improvement of processes and controls to achieve effective financial reporting and operational processes. This includes partnering with appropriate stakeholders, for a successful end-to-end approach to reporting
- Implement client and pricing change on the billing system
- Business partner with financial and non-financial stakeholders on key business initiatives to provide Subject Matter Expert advice on operational processes and accounting advice
- Work collaboratively with other parts of the business to implement key initiatives and key improvements
- Support internal and external audit activities as required
- Provide training to Clients or internal users on the Billing System, Settlement, Visa Online Invoicing Portal (VOIP) and Fee Types
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office three days a week, Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

- Experience in Financial Control, including month-end and year-end close processes
- Strong competency with data manipulation using Excel, querying systems and working with data sets
- Understanding of both financial and operational controls in a high-volume reporting environment, with heavily reliance on IT systems, automated and manual controls
- Inquisitive and possess natural curiosity to challenge current practices
- ability to dive deep into data, processes, people and technology challenges in order to identify issues and opportunities for financial reporting
- Experience in driving standardization and continuous improvement of existing processes and controls to achieve successful end-to-end reporting approach
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to communicate concisely and persuasively across regional and/or functional lines
- Experience in previous Finance operations, Billing or Accounts Receivable role
- Detail-oriented with proven ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Good understanding of accounting concepts and double entries. Part qualified ACCA/CIMA/AAT is desired, but not essential.
