We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Band 5 Dental Nurse team leader in Community Dental Services We are seeking to appoint someone who is passionate about delivering a high-quality standard of care to our patients.
You will need to be able to work in a very busy environment whilst remaining calm and be able to demonstrate a good understand of and commitment to delivering excellent standards of care.
A Team Leader with specific responsibility for managing a team of Dental Nurses and receptionist in clinical setting.
You main duties will be:
- Undertaking the responsibility of organising/delivery of the special care dental nursing in community dental services
- Undertaking specific roles as and when directed by the Practice Manager to support the day to day running of the clinics including the planning and management of staff rotas, implementing service initiatives/developments to ensure compliance with regulatory standards including, but not limited to, CQC, Dental Practice Inspections, Standard Operating Procedures, Health & Safety Risk Assessment etc.
- Providing advice and guidance to front line staff, with line management duties for the dental nurses working in clinic.
- Working in partnership with other Dental Nurse Team Leaders to ensure standardised practices across all sites
