About the role
Base Location: West London, Reading, Slough, Oxford or Melksham
Salary: £30,273 - £35,194 depending on skills and experience + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Permanent | Full Time | Flexible working options available
We are looking for a Finance Analyst to join our team!
Your role as Finance Analyst will be to secure, consolidate, analyse and provide accurate fact-based information for distribution projects.
You will support finance forecasting, and provide a comprehensive overview of project finances as required to support great financial control.
Other roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Solve or foresee issues relating to the programme before they arise.
- Review, maintain and improve current financial controls while providing real time relevant information.
- Investigate areas of doubt whilst ensuring accuracy and validity of information and provide recommendations to improve financial and productivity performance.
- Supporting monthly reporting in a timely and accurate manner and the preparation of monthly and annual budgets and forecasts in line with business plans.
What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
- Previous experience in Finance and experience of managing business plans and budgets to meet financial targets with strong management and organisational skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how a DNO operates and generates revenues and incentives within the current price control period.
- IT skills to effectively analyse performance data and deliver formal presentations via Bespoke IT systems.
- An understanding of key business metrics and key financial metrics and how they are calculated and used to drive performance.
- The ability to think things through logically, and come to your own decisions.
