Spiro are looking for a Finance Analyst!

Function

Support finance and operational management through analysing information in order to aid the decision-making process.

Key activities and responsibilities

  • Assist in preparation of forecasts and plan information.
  • Assist in preparation of weekly and monthly cash flow forecasts.
  • Analyse in detail show costs/revenues and feed information back to operational/finance managers where appropriate in aid of show planning, forecasting and reporting requirements.
  • Produce variance analysis for actual results versus forecasting/planned numbers.
  • Gather historical information, analysing trends and report in a presentable way aiding decision making and accurate forecasting.
  • Provide information on show rotations, size, changes and exhibitors.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
  • Assist in processing and recording sales invoicing.
  • Preparation of monthly and ad hoc journals with appropriate back-up as required.
  • Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations for review.
  • Compile and prepare detailed reports including graphs and charts of data analysed.
  • Help uploading forecasts into Hyperion each month, ensuring accurate submission into the US.
  • Help drive GES processes and operational efficiencies.
  • Assist with internal and external audit queries.
  • Assistance with preparation of manual and SOP sales invoices as required.
  • Ad hoc duties as required.
  • Actively engage in continuous improvement ensuring suggestions and opportunities are highlighted to your line manager.
  • Demonstrate commitment to the core values of the company.
  • Take a participative role in the company’s sustainability initiative and ensure, where possible, your actions support the achievement of this initiative; reuse, recycle and replenish.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety, corporate, client and legislative standards across the function.

You will be required to develop and maintain positive and progressive working relationships both internally and externally, in order to facilitate growth and integration across the business.

Salary

This is a full-time role offering a competitive salary, dependent on experience. The range suggested on this advert is a guide only.

We operate a reward strategy based on our team members receiving a salary that best reflects their experience and skill level.

Hours of work

A 37.5 hour week working Monday to Friday, typically between the hours of 8.30 – 5.00 (with one hour unpaid lunch).

You may be required to work evenings and weekends during busy periods in order to meet the demands of the business.
