Up to £28,000 including bonus (depending on experience) + benefits

Your purpose
As a Finance Analyst, you’ll prepare the management accounts for UK Optics stores ensuring the data is accurate and within the required timeframe. Working collaboratively with the Store Directors enabling them to understand their financial performance and supporting with any queries relating to their management and statutory accounts with any queries.
Your role
You’ll be responsible to produce the management accounts for stores and perform month end processes, ensuring the correct processes are being followed, liaising with Store Directors on accounting information on the movements within the accounts to provide analytical data on the profit and loss accounts and balance sheets, ensuring the validity of key balances and transactions in the store ledgers.
- Perform debtor reconciliations and review of trial balances for stores to ensure validity of balances.
- Provide excellent service on accounting queries and questions.
- Adhering to accounting principles and double entry to be able to post into stores management accounts.
- Preparation of the statutory accounts for stores and associate papers under FRS102.
What you’ll bring
We’re on the lookout for someone who’s studying towards or has completed an entry level accounting qualification either AAT, ACCA or CIMA, with strong Excel skills, an understanding of accounting principles and double entry. Your communication, attention detail and organisational skills will be expectational.
