An outstanding opportunity has arisen for a Finance Analyst to join our Civil Aerospace Operations team at Ross Ceramics in either Denby or Trentham.
As a Finance Analyst, you will provide financial and management accounting support to the wholly owned subsidiary of Rolls-Royce - Ross Ceramics (part of our Turbines Operating Business Unit) based across Denby and Stoke (Trentham).
In this role, you will work at the heart of a manufacturing facility preparing the accounts and overseeing the financial performance.

What you will be doing:
You will provide financial and management accounting support and will be responsible for:
- Actuals preparation and reporting. This includes sales and purchase ledger processing and reconciliations, journal preparation, variance analysis and preparing business review packs to enable local leadership to understand the financial results.
- Balance Sheet management, including; completing balance sheet reconciliations, audit reviews and answering questions from Statutory Auditors, Finance Service Centres and Financial Planning and Analysis teams.
- Balance Sheet management. This includes completing balance sheet reconciliations, audit reviews and answering questions from various stakeholders.
- Preparing required government and statutory audit requirements and supporting statutory audits onsite for the subsidiary.
- Preparation of budget and updated forecast using key inputs from various business contacts, assisting in understanding the drivers and impacts of change.

- CIMA/ACCA/Charted or Management accounting qualification or equivalent and ability to demonstrate subject matter expert experience.
- Working knowledge of Sage accounting software.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of individuals and teams.
- Experienced in communicating to non-Finance personnel.
- Customer focus and a drive for process improvement.
