About The Role
This role is particularly suited to those with commercial or healthcare experience; however, a multitude of backgrounds will be considered.
Working as part of the Secondary Care finance team and be part of the central Financial Control function based in Reading.
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management accounting of the Hospitals and will involve developing good working relationships with the operations team across the relevant operating units and supporting the Finance Managers. You will provide accurate and on time financial accounts and on-going management accounting information and analysis, to enable the business to make enhanced business decisions.
Supported by a Central Finance team in Reading, you will deliver month-end reporting process for the nominated sites including preparation of financial and non-financial information along with detailed variance analysis and commentaries.

About You
- Experience in supporting month-end reporting process and preparation of financial and non-financial information along with detailed variance analysis and commentaries
- The ability to Investigate and resolutions of variances against forecast and budget
- Previous experience working in a finance function
- Studying an accountancy qualification or open to starting one
- A high level of competency in usual Microsoft applications e.g. Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- An understanding of finance systems and processes
