As one of the UK’s fastest growing MPSs, we’re on the lookout for a Finance Analyst to join our team.

Location: Home-based

Salary: Competitive base + + benefits

Job Type: Permanent

As the Finance Analyst your role is to support the commercial accounting and bid management teams in financial and commercial modelling and reporting. It is a junior role that will provide an excellent opportunity for a commercially astute individual to develop financial skills and experience. The role will have high visibility to senior stakeholders in the business giving that individual plenty of opportunity to shine. It would suit a recent graduate or person with 1-2 years’ experience in a financial, commercial, or analytical role hoping to build financial and commercial experience.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain relationships and trust with senior stakeholders in sales, bid management, pre sales and finance and to support decision making and deliver value for the business
  • Accurately model the financial information for bids, deals and decisions so that senior stakeholders can make informed decisions.
  • Build, maintain and continuously improve financial systems and reporting
  • Assist Commercial Accountant on bids and tender responses as part of the wider bid team alongside technical consultants (presales), bid management and sales counterparts.
  • Assess commercial viability of investment decisions and sales opportunities, articulating financial risks and opportunities.
  • Work with the bid team to shape the commercial proposition to align with the commercial strategy of the business.

Skills Required:

Working towards Relevant Accountant Qualification (AAT/CIMA/ACCA) - Desirable

Previous experience within a similar commercial environment

Business partnering with sales and commercial teams

Working within a fast-paced commercial environment

Working with technology or communications based product set
