Job description
As a Finance Analyst, you will be required to partner with multiple non-finance stakeholders at various levels within the Retail division of Heathrow. You will use your excellent analytical and reporting abilities bringing clarity and insight that aid business decisions. You will also work closely with the Finance Business Services Team ensuring controls are robust and numbers are accurate.
- Business partnering with the Heads of Category, Senior Account Managers and Accounting Managers to understand and improve Retail performance
- Analysing KPI trends and presenting findings to Business Partners in Head of Category monthly performance meetings
- Supporting Senior Account Managers to build action plans to improve underperforming categories
- Production of PowerPoint and Power BI management reports
- Collating and processing financial and non-financial information from various stakeholders and sources required for reporting
- Continuous development of management report processes and insight
- Collaborating with our Finance Business Services Team ensuring Retail month end numbers are accurate and fully understood, and support on annual budgets and forecasts
- Leading the review of monthly sales provisions of Retail concessionaires
- Supporting the tendering process by recommending the best value propositions,
- Assisting Capital programmes with investment appraisal & financial assurance activities
- Collaborating with the wider Finance Team to support our data strategy with a transformation towards automated self-service management information
- Strong communication skills with a demonstrable track record of excellent stakeholder engagement
- Experience in providing business insight, analytical support and clear presentation of financial and business information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Knowledge and experience of working in a similar role - experience of complex commercial and regulated environments within a large organisation.
- An enquiring mind with the drive to understand and simplify complex problems.
- Strong finance acumen with analytical mindset and the ability to spot data linkages, errors and opportunities. Ability to create financial models and present volumes of data clearly and concisely.
- Strong Excel analysis and modelling skills with experience in creating professional and engaging PowerPoint slide decks
- Qualified (or by experience)/part qualified Accountant - CIMA, ACCA, ACA
Ideally, you'll also have:
- Experience / knowledge of using Oracle systems
- Power BI experience

Working Location
Our agile approach offers the opportunity to combine home working with meetings, events and training at the airport. All roles involve some on-site working each week, so you’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
