The Role & Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst
- P&L reporting
- Weekly discrepancies
- Working with the team to identify and quantify reporting changes driven by business developments
- Supporting annual planning round & regular forecasting through provision of data and analysis
- Complete accurate, timely ledger postings incl. accruals and period end adjustments
- Financial review & commentary for month on month movements and annual trends
- Work with business areas, including Managers, to identify and resolve any data discrepancies
- Creating/developing/owning reports to reflect different area's of the business
- Producing month end balance sheets
- Reporting findings to internal and external clients and stakeholders
Requirements of the Finance Analyst
- Proven commercial finance experience
- Be able to produce reports and not be confident in reporting to Senior Management
- ACCA, ACA or CIMA qualified or qualified by experience
- Confident in MS Excel
- Possess strong analytical skills
