Sodexo have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to support one of our key corporate clients as part of our highly supportive team.
We are looking for someone with proven finance experience as you will travel to various sites regularly supporting General Managers to improve cost management/control/analysis. Excellent communication skills are also essential, you will enjoy providing support and building relationships. You will identify issues and add value, always looking to improve ways of working.
If you enjoy finance, can work to deadlines and balance competing priorities, whilst being proactive with attention to detail – this is a fantastic opportunity for you. You will be confident on computers; a great communicator and you will understand the importance of confidentiality.
Main ResponsibilitiesWhat you’ll do:
- The role is to assist in the financial responsibilities, excellent communication and relationship building skills essential
- Assist in the resolution of overdue debt issues with Credit Management Teams, Site Teams, and client teams, where required.
- Play an integral role during the month end process, ensuring relevant sources of
- information and system are utilised.
- Produce the monthly financial reports
- Support in the analysis of site performance using tools available to provide meaningful commentary.
- Working with on-site teams to ensure compliance around current systems and effective use of these systems.
- Support in obtaining the correct information required by sites to achieve high performance.

The Ideal CandidateWhat you bring:
- Excellent Excel knowledge and proficient in Word and PowerPoint
- Creative and ‘can do’ attitude
- Knowledge of financial systems, including accounting systems and budgetary control
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Able to always maintain complete confidentiality
- Must have the ability to prioritise tasks and work using own initiative.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a large team.
- Organised and able to manage various projects simultaneously
- Previous experience in writing detailed reports and collating detailed accurate information accordingly
- Proven and successful Finance Department experience
- Excellent business partnering skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
- Ability to work on own initiative and be proactive, working quickly and accurately under pressure whilst achieving deadlines
- Highly self-motivated, ability to take ownership for several projects from beginning to end
- A structured but flexible manner of working with the ability to prioritise and manage your own workload.
- Ability to remain calm and assertive under pressure
Desirable
- Studying for Professional Accountancy Qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Previous experience of working within the facilities management sector is desirable but not essential
