Role: Finance Administrator – Part Time
Location: Blackburn, BB1 2FA – Office Based
Contract: Part-Time 20 Hours / Permanent
Salary: £22,000 (Pro-Rata) & Bonus Scheme
About the Role…
Our Transactional Finance Team is expanding and we have an exciting opportunity available for a dedicated Part-Time Finance Administrator! In this role, you will be part of the Accounts Payable Team and will be responsible for Company Expenses.
We are looking for an organised individual with strong attention to detail, you are required to review our existing Company Expenses process and implement an enhanced version, which suits the needs of the business. You will then become the process owner and hold responsibility for the successful completion of this on a monthly basis.
This is a permanent office based position offering a 20 hours contract; we are flexible with preferred working schedules between Monday-Friday. If you are self-motivated and looking to pursue a career in finance with a contract that works for you, this is your perfect opportunity to apply!
Duties & Responsibilities
Review our Company Expenses process and be part of the implementation team for an enhanced version
Main point of contact for Company Expense requests & queries
Manage all Company Expenses correspondence inclusive of emails, phone calls and systems
Review all Company Expenses requests and cross reference the supporting evidence / receipts against their claim to ensure there are no discrepancies
Ensure all Company Expenses claims are in line with our policy agreement and standards
Submit monthly Company Expenses file to be processed via Payroll
Data entry & supplier validation
Assist with finance related duties
This list is not exhaustive and may be added to or amended from time to time

Highly organised with the ability to manage & prioritise your own workload
Efficient & pro-active, you maximize your working day successfully completing tasks and offering to help others when you can
Analytical with strong attention to detail is essential, you will be handling numbers and data which requires accuracy
