Job Title: Finance Administrator
Reporting To: Head of Credit Control
Location: Hybrid – 2 days in Wilmslow office, 3 days remote
Hours of Work: 37.5
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join our busy finance team based in Wilmslow.
Key Responsibilities include:
· Chasing payment of outstanding debts via telephone, letter, email
· Re-instate & set up new direct debits
· Resolve customer queries
· Cash allocation
· Management of finance inbox
· Admin duties including emailing copy invoices & VAT schedules
· Release of invoices to the ledger on a daily/weekly basis
The Person-
· A minimum 2:1 degree in Accountancy and Finance, Maths, Economics or a numerical based degree
· Some working knowledge of finance administrator processes and procedures
· Transactional finance knowledge and understanding
· Experience of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
· Professional attitude and persona
· Positive outlook
· Strong work ethic
· Able to prioritise workload
· Negotiation skills
· Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
· Generate and maintains solid working relationships with clients and colleagues
