Position Summary:
The Videographer scripts, shoots and edits videos to be used for marketing and internal communication purposes. Creates videos that can enhance communication with employees, make health information accessible for patients and enhance the organization's social media presence.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Three (3) years experience in Communications, Videography, Photojournalism, and/or Broadcast Photography. The videographer should have the ability to tell a compelling story via video. This means experience with script writing, shooting his/her own video, and editing the video to make a complete story. Demonstrates ability to use video equipment and editing software. Experience coaching and directing those who are "on-camera" in order for those individuals to represent Carle in a professional way. Demonstrates ability to work well with people, including both coworkers as well as those who are in the video. Must be able to complete assignments on schedule and work in a fast-paced environment.

Script writing Ability to use a video camera Ability to edit videos using editing software Sound editing Ability to coach and guide video subjects Knowledge of copyright laws and legal requirements regarding use and reuse of videos, voice talent, music, graphic images, etc. Understanding of PHI and use of media/photography waivers and release consents and adherence to these policies Ability to organize and archive video for easy retrieval and documentation
Essential Functions:
- Writes scripts for and videotapes program material. Provides creative direction and production for projects.
- Edits and assembles videos to ensure consistency and relevancy to assignment and overall quality.
- Oversees the security, operation and maintenance of equipment utilized in shooting and editing.
- Collaborates with graphic designers on photographic, video, and/or animation components of advertising and marketing projects.
