Job description

A boutique real estate development firm in the GTA, is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Videographer to join the team.

As a videographer working with a Real Estate developer, your primary responsibility will be to create compelling visual content that showcases development projects, social media content, podcasts and the overall brand of the real estate development company. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality videos, editing footage, and producing engaging visual materials to promote projects and support marketing initiatives. Your work will contribute to enhancing the company's online presence, attracting potential buyers and investors, and effectively communicating the unique features and benefices of real estate projects and social media presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production:

  • Plan, shoot, and direct high-quality videos of podcasts, YouTube shorts, social media content, construction sites, and architectural features using professional-grade equipment.
  • Employ creative techniques to capture engaging footage, ensuring the videos highlight the best aspects of the development projects and social media presence
  • Collaborate with the marketing team and CEO to understand their vision and requirements for each video project.
  • Ensure all necessary equipment, lighting, and audio tools are prepared and used effectively during the shooting process.

Video Editing and Post-Production:

  • Edit and enhance raw video footage to create visually appealing and impactful videos.
  • Incorporate music, voiceovers, and graphics to enhance the overall quality and message of the videos.
  • Use video editing software and tools to create smooth transitions, add visual effects, and optimize the videos for different platforms and formats.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure videos align with the overall brand and marketing strategy.

Content Management:

  • Organize and maintain a library of video assets, ensuring easy accessibility for future use.
  • Continuously update and improve the video content to reflect new projects, developments and social media material
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in video production, editing, and online video marketing to ensure the company's content remains competitive and cutting-edge.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the CEO and fellow team members to ensure vision is being captured at all times.
  • Coordinate schedules and locations for video shoots, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Communicate effectively to manage expectations, provide progress updates, and address any issues or concerns that may arise during the video production process.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer, ideally with social media, YouTube, podcast media experience
  • Proficiency in operating professional video equipment, cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Knowledge of videography techniques, composition, and lighting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring high-quality video production and editing.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms for video content distribution is a plus.
  • A portfolio or samples of previous work demonstrating videography and video editing skills is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $50,000.00 per year
