If you possess a fork-lift truck licence this is a tremendous opportunity develop your career in a business that is a world leader in making coatings. We are now recruiting a Filling Line Operator to join our paint production team at our manufacturing site in Stowmarket.
- Ensure paint filling & associated equipment operates effectively to meet set production targets.
- Work safely & to the highest H&S standards.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver improvements & reduce wastage.
- Collaborate with colleagues to resolve equipment problems, support repairs & manage product changeovers.
- Ensure appropriate production pre-checks are undertaken to minimise line downtime.
- Maintain good housekeeping standards.
- Good GCSE passes.
- FLT driving licence desirable but not essential
- Eye for detail.
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
- Flexible to work shifts involving weekend working.
- Good understanding of the importance of operating to company procedures & safely.
- City and Guilds and NVQ 1 desirable.
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment an advantage.
