Field Trials Officer | Norfolk
About Our Client
Our client provides independent agronomy services to a wide range of field crops in the UK and abroad, consisting of a team of agronomists and associates that specialise in root vegetable, arable and premium value niche crop production, both conventionally and organically.
About the Job
You will be responsible for helping to run the management of trials, drilling, assisting with data handling and field walking in a hands on field based role. This includes assistance with the design, set-up and establishment of field trials, assistance with the implementation of field trials work, assessment, grading and reporting. It also includes assistance with the preparation of trial presentations, responsibility for several trials designated to your portfolio, contribution to trial records ORETO compliance and general support within the wider activities of the company.
The Ideal Candidate
You will ideally have a couple of years of experience in trials, and your spray certificates. You will be interested in data analysis and have proven IT skills in Microsoft and bespoke programmes. You will be passionate about the industry and have a strong work ethic and be prepared to get involved with any task.
