We have an opportunity for a BMS Field Service Engineer to join our team covering the North West of England. Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) is a strategic business unit in Automation and Control Solutions (ACS). HBS installs and maintains the systems to help keep buildings and facilities safe, secure, comfortable, and cost-efficient, and is a leading provider of energy efficiency solutions worldwide. HBS specializes in service of critical building systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), building automation, fire, security, and energy management.
The position of BMS Automation Engineer is a Field-based role supporting our clients in and around London. The purpose of this position is to carry out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM), re-active calls, out of hours support. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of BMS controls.
BMS Field Service Engineer responsibilities
- Operate, Maintain and Interrogate Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems
- Full understanding and Knowledge of Honeywell CARE Software
- Modify and Interrogate Honeywell Comfort Point open/Excel Web and Tridium range of controllers
- Engineering Level knowledge on Honeywell Enterprise Interrogator systems main software platform
- Honeywell Niagara software Knowledge
- Microsoft advanced engineering
- Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
Achieve the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will achieve revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.

Qualifications
- Awareness of Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures necessary
- Ability and willingness to learn about new systems and operational procedures
- Experience and knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems
- Proven Customer skills
