About the role:
Salary: £29,000 - £36,288 per annum
Your salary range consists of £29,000 Basic Salary, £4,788 (average overtime earnings) and £2,500 OTE from performance-based commission. An excellent package with a 4-day working week!
Join us as a Field Service Engineer (internally known as a Field Technician) and we’ll be giving you all the training you need to be successful. Through installations, fixing faults, and delivering great customer service, you’ll be given the chance to build connections that really matter to our customers.
You’ll always be looking for opportunities to improve the customer’s package, making sure they know all about our latest technology and deals.
You’ll be given comprehensive installation and customer service training, as well as ongoing support - you can trust us to do the right thing by you. No two days are the same, which means you’ll always be learning and finding new challenges to get stuck into.
What are the job responsibilities?
Millions of potential new customers will now have access to the Virgin Media offering across the UK, giving them the chance to enjoy our new, faster broadband in their area at a reasonable price. This is where you come in.
  • Be the expert in installations, fixing faults and delivering great customer service
  • Diagnose errors and technical problems and determine appropriate solutions
  • Document processes and follow company standard procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with the technical team and share information across the organisation
Shifts
The weekly working hours are 37.5 hours per week across 4 days. This will be a mixture of 10 and 7.5 hour shifts from Monday to Saturday
All we ask is for you to give time to commit to your training and our fabulous 4-day working week patterns, giving you more time to spend doing what you love to do.
The must haves:
  • A UK Manual driving license with no more than 8 points
  • Live in one of the advertised postcodes

  • Be comfortable working at heights and outside in all weathers
  • Ability to display your problem-solving skills
  • An organised individual, with a confident approach
  • No specific qualifications required!
