Job description
Responsibilities:
- To communicate positively and efficiently with their Service Desk in the UK.
- To visit customer sites to install, service, and repair machines.
- Leave jobs in full working order and liaise with customers.
- At customer sites, familiarise yourself with customer rules and working practices, including their health and safety policies.
- To feedback to the Service Desk on problems/issues on site.
- When the job/customer dictates, there could be a requirement to lodge away from home.
Requirements:
- Ability to install, service, and repair CNC machines and equipment.
- Ability to fault find, diagnose, and correct errors as identified on CNC machine tools.
- Ability to assemble, set up and dismantle hydraulic, pneumatic, and large associated mechanical assemblies.
- A team player with the ability to work on their own initiative and problem-solve.
- Knowledge of part identification and understanding of engineering drawings.
- Mechanical and electrical qualifications/experience.
- PLC knowledge.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
- PC literate.
- Previous experience in a service team environment.
