My client are a UK leading materials handling manufacturer, producing some of the most ingenious products within the warehouse industry. Due to expansion, they are now looking for a Field Service Engineer to join their team to cover the Birmingham and surrounding areas. For the right candidate, not only will you be provided with product specialised training in their fantastic factory, you will also be rewarded with a competitive salary circa up to £34k (OTE £40k ), full door to door payment, Monday - Friday day shifts, company van with the option for personal use, full PDA system & PPE, 23 days holidays bank holidays, opportunities for overtime and much more. Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer: Servicing and repair of trucks as directed by the Service Manager Diagnosing the nature of each query and repair with a friendly and efficient attitude. Completing a service report for each job on a PDA system Reporting to the Service Manager The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities: Experience working with forklift trucks, plant, agriculture, and/or HGV equipment NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant or Maintenance is preferred Highly advanced with Gas and Diesel engines, Hydraulics and Electrics Well organised, methodical and process-driven Good at micro managing workload and able to work well under pressure A good team player Salary and Benefits: Salary £29,000 - £34,000 D.O.E (OTE £40k ) Overtime paid at x1.5 hours, 2.0 hours (Sundays & Bank Holidays) Paid full door to door travel Van, mobile & laptop 23 days holidays Bank Holidays (goes up with time served) Call out available after probationary period Company pension scheme Ongoing training and support programme Professional Technical
