Role: Service Engineer - Site Based

Salary: £29,000-£30,000 (£15 per hour)

Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire

Hours: Monday - Friday days only - 37.5 hours per week

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

The Client:

Interaction Technical have partnered with a well-established, global company working in the field of process temperature control on their search for an on-site based service engineer to join their busy team. Our client specialises in providing precision temperature controls for the Injection Moulding, Die Casting, Food and general Manufacturing industries.




The Package:

• £15 per hour for the suitable candidate

• 25 days holiday + bank holiday

• 3 days taken for Christmas shutdown

• Health Care Plan after 3 month probationary period has been passed

• Training & Development surrounding electrical & mechanical capabilities - some offsite courses

• Company pension scheme

The Role:

• Working on high temperature oil and pressurised water units.

• Assessing temperature control units, following a pre-set service report sheet.

• Identify any electrical or mechanical faults and complete reports which will be used to quote customers for works and/or parts required.

• Identifying worn or damaged parts and advising replacement.

• Testing oil & water pumps for water for leaks, wear & repairing or replacing as required.

• Service, repair, clean and refurbishing units as required

• Test the temperature control units once the service and repairs have been completed.
  

The Requirements:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing and service environment (essential)

• Relevant qualifications, either electrical or mechanical (city & guilds. NVQs)

• Good electrical knowledge: Industrial control fault finding on 415v / 240v / 24vDC (essential)

• Good mechanical knowledge: Re-sealing and repair and refurbishment of water & oil pumps

• Good knowledge of Pneumatic systems
