Electronic Service Engineer (International)
EVS International Sales Limited are a small family run business based on the Isle of Wight and are the World Leaders in solder recovery systems, which are sought after by an increasing number of companies worldwide. Due to expansion and their ever-growing customer database, EVS are looking for an experienced Electrical Service Engineer to join their team.
Job Description:
The Service Department at EVS exists to support existing and new customers with their work being highly varied, including:
- Worldwide travel for machine installation and training on customer’s site or via online call.
- Supporting customer’s with any issues on the EVS Systems via telephone/email.
- Diagnosing and repairing returned parts and issuing Warranty requests.
- Respond to customer’s technical enquires.
- Assist sales teams with technical enquiries.
- Produce reports on machine performance as well as provide accurate information for EVS records.
- Liaise with the admin department for quotes and training certificates needed.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
- GCSE Maths, English and Science.
- Must have electrical engineer qualification/experience and knowledge in basic electronics and fault finding.
- Computer literate in basic Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Knowledge and awareness of safety considerations.
- To be able to work in a team as well as alone.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Have good attention to detail and can work on their own initiative.
- Be willing to learn and develop skills.
- Enthusiastic and confident.
You must be able to travel worldwide with no restriction and have a full UK driving license.
Essential to be based/living on the Isle of Wight.
