We have an exciting opportunity with one of our cleints to become an IT Field Engineer in Derby.
Role Responsibilities:
- Field Based Involving direct customer contact for the installation and refit of EPOS equipment, PC Hardware, software and peripherals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Carry out the installation of EPOS Equipment, including new store installs.
- Capable use of both hand tools and power tools.
- Software upgrades such as store migrations and windows upgrades.
- Configuration of base units and peripherals.
- To complete all documentation accurately and efficiently.
- To always maintain vehicle stock.
- Technical point of contact for new contracts/customer as and when required.
Essential Skills:
- An interactive and team driven approach.
- Great customer service skills & ability to prioritise workload.
- Ability to follow detailed bespoke Installation Manuals.
- Ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
Background & Knowledge:
- Experience of a Field Engineer function is an advantage.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Software.
Additional Information:
- To work any 5 out of 7 days and additional hours when required.
- Expected to work away from home as required.
- To hold or be working towards a valid ECS qualification.
- Valid UK Drivers License (No more than 6 points, DD or DUI)
- Annual Leave: 22 Days per year
