Nexus Pro Systems Ltd is the company responsible for the manufacture and distribution of PROJOINT innovative paving products to over 500+merchants in the UK. Due to our unprecedented growth over the last ten years, we are recruiting for more Field Sales Representatives.
About the Role
Our successful applicant will have a strong understanding of a sales process with a proven track record of closing deals and building customer relationships, leaving our customers with absolute confidence in our company and products.
An established customer base will be provided for you to manage, and you will be expected to attend new leads generated by our advertising and marketing activities. You will also be free to proactively network to seek out builder/landscape merchants clients in your dedicated area too.
Experience in the home improvement, building and landscaping industry is desired, but not essential as product training will be provided.
Requirements
As a Nexus ProJoint Sales manager, you will be our expert in the field recommending and selling our PROJOINT products to builders & stone merchants. You will responsible for driving sales and delivering excellent customer service in your area. You’ll work closely with our Nexus Management team and:
- Be a true ambassador for our company and its products in the North of England
- Achieve targets
- Conduct effective sales presentations by clearly communicating features and benefits, to meet the customer requirements.
- Help Merchants with quotations for our products.
- After conducting a sales presentation, maximise every sales opportunity with effective follow-up communication.
- Communicate with your wider sales team to share best practices and help improve standards.
- Report back relevant market research, competitor activity/monitoring.
- To ensure exceptional service and identification of potential new sales opportunities.
- Complete administrative tasks, such as processing and recording sales documentation.
- Prepare and communicate professional customer quotations, proposals, and other documentation as required.
- Work with the internal customer services team to support the customer journey.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years sales experience, ideally in the building merchant field.
- Proven track record and success rate at levels above target.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills - ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.
- Negotiation and organisational skills.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
- Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to customer needs.
- Relationship management skills and openness to feedback.
- Willingness to adapt and implement new sales methods.
- Time management and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines and close sales in a timely manner.
- Ability to contact customers, complete sales and manage other tasks independently.
- A team player.
