Job description

The role:

The Field Operations Manager is required to lead and organise the operations, maintenance, and repair activities for the gas production and consumer sites run by Bennamann Energy Ltd. They will also have a key customer facing role in relations with farmers, site operators and gas customers

The role will also lead to the development and roll-out of an operational franchise model, whereby the processes and structures required to run the Bennamann sites shall be standardised and repeated nationwide.

Key Duties and responsibilities (request JD for full list):

· Lead the field operations team to effectively carry out gas processing, customer deliveries and container logistics, across multiple production and customer sites.

· Drive reporting systems to produce monthly production and sales reports, own and report on operations budget across sites.

· Provide feedback using operational data to drive continuous improvement towards reliability and optimised gas production.

· Work with field and gas operatives to develop standardised procedures and training for gas processing and delivery operations, include adherence to ISO processes

· Organise and document maintenance of machinery and instrumentation across operating sites. Conduct regular audits of site conditions.

· Work with field and gas operatives to develop standardised inspection and maintenance procedures for active equipment

· Own and maintain risk registers and safety compliance across active sites

· Develop training programmes based on standardised maintenance and service procedures to rolled out to third party service providers

The person:

Essential requirements:

Technical/Operational

Experience of gas, chemical or offshore processing, monitoring and managing

Understanding of EA, H&S and SAFFO regulations

Business Acumen

Commercial/financial experience to plan, monitor and manage budgets and achieve production and sales targets

Leadership & Management

Experience of managing/supervising others

Training and certificates in: DSEAR, SAW, PUWR, COSHH, REACH regulations

An empathy and affinity with Bennamann core values

Desirable:

IOSSH or NEBOSH

ISO 14001, 9001, 45001

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year

  • Truro: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Field Service Management: 2 years (required)
  • H&S, EA, SAFFO: 1 year (required)
  • Gas/chemical processing: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • DSEAR, SAW, PUWR, COSHH, REACH (required)
