The Role

The Manager Marketing, CMS Adoption is responsible for enabling field marketers, lead generation, sales and CS with content delivered via Seismic, and optimizing performance in the field on the CMS platform. This person will work closely with sales and marketing to ensure our platforms are delivering maximum value for enabling customer facing teams to engage with customers effectively and drive revenue growth and to build a small team if needs of the business grow. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sales enablement tools and techniques, managing and optimizing sales enablement platforms and thriving and creating structure in a newly created role.

The Main Responsibilities

  • Manage and optimize our sales enablement platform Seismic to ensure they are delivering maximum value to the sales, CS, lead generation and field marketing teams.
  • Drive content planning, including presentation approach for existing content, ongoing content curation, development of standardized BOM (and identification of gaps against the same).
  • Be the voice of sales to the marketing team about content needs, such as sales collateral or playbooks, within the sales enablement platforms.
  • Ensure that sales, CS, lead generation and field marketing teams have the necessary training, content, and support to effectively use the sales enablement platforms.
  • Monitor and analyze platform usage, such as through KPIs, to identify trends and to ensure compliance with company policy and best practices.
  • Outline analytics strategy, including KPIs to track (e.g., overall sales adoption, content utilization by sellers, content consumption by customers) and plans for readouts to key stakeholders (incl. executive readouts)
  • Deliver readouts on KPIs to executives and stakeholders to reflect revenue impacts and direct content curation.
  • Assist with content creation and curation by providing cross-functional teams with data on content consumption.
  • Assist Field Marketing Managers in interpreting Seismic analytics so they can better support their teams.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in sales enablement technology.
  • Help develop plans subsequent rollout phases (e.g., adding training & learning capabilities as a Phase 2 rollout feature)
  • Develop change management plan, including pre-release activities (e.g., training) and post-release activities (e.g., adoption tracking)

  • Minimum 7-10 years of enterprise marketing experience.

  • Able to lead both direct teams and cross functional/matrixed teams.
  • Enjoys ambiguity and can define a path forward regardless of roadblocks or challenges.
  • Executive presence, interacting with and presenting to EVP/VP level regularly.
  • Results-Oriented leader with prior successful experience in a dynamic, highly matrixed corporate environment, who is detail-oriented and has a strong focus on delivery milestones.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to listen effectively and communicate in a proactive fashion.
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
  • Ability to adapt to continually changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes.
  • Experience managing sales enablement platforms such as Seismic a plus.
  • Prior experience with Seismic platform preferred
  • Strong team player with a positive attitude.

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
