YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and maintain a field marketing plan and strategy, specifically tailored to our Massachusetts Innovation Campuses with a focus on achieving quarterly pipeline goals.
- Implement marketing plan; engage and coordinate internal resources, contractors, and 3rd party vendors as needed to ensure seamless execution and exceptional results. Plan may include a wide range of initiatives, such as webinars, live events, sponsorships, and other grassroots efforts.
- Measure and evaluate effectiveness of marketing efforts, contribute to broader marketing and Massachusetts monthly reports.
- Serve as the brand custodian, ensuring local communications, including newsletters, social media content, website, collateral and on-site signage, are up-to-date and on brand and that the local teams have tools and resources needed to streamline efforts.
- Operate as an extension of the local team, jumping in to provide informational tours, participate in high-profile business development meetings, and support the GM with community outreach and presence.
- Support local and global PR and content efforts, including sourcing client stories, data and other local market info to inform pitches and media opportunities.

- Process-oriented, able to establish a clear plan, identify resource needs and manage a project through to completion.
- A compelling communicator, a strong writer, and an engaging presenter.
- Experienced working collaboratively and comfortable working within a flat organization, engaging with team members of all levels across the organization.
YOU HAVE
- A Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred; or equivalent years of related work experience.
- 5+ years relevant work experience in field marketing or business development; event experience is a plus.
- Demonstrated experience developing, strategizing and executing a field marketing plan, including budget allocation and ROI measurement.
- Proficiency in Hubspot, Microsoft Office, Google docs, and Canva.
- Operations experience, managing resources and establishing processes to enhance efficiency.
- Prior experience sourcing and managing vendors, including contract negotiation.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience copywriting for email, landing pages, and social media campaigns.
- Experience developing and executing account-based marketing programs a plus.
