Job Title: Field Care Supervisor
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Contract: Full-Time 35hours (plus participation in on-call rota required)
Salary: £23,660 + mileage allowance

Could you be the Field Care Supervisor in Newcastle Upon Tyne we’re looking for?
Like everyone in the Radfield team, our amazing Field Care Supervisors are roll-your-sleeves-up, supportive, positive, honest, warm and committed kind of people.
You’ll be taking responsibility for the day-to-day management of care services for our clients in Newcastle Upon Tyne. You’ll be running visits to review and assess the work of our care professionals and you’ll be providing feedback for training and development. As a champion for outstanding care, you’ll be supervising, supporting and guiding a team of carers on a daily basis.
You’re someone who loves working with people and helping their development, outcomes-focused and always looking for ways to enhance quality of care, while working in an environment that’s busy and fluid. You’ll need to have some previous experience providing personal care, working for a home care agency and mentoring care teams. You’ll also need a UK driver’s license, be over the age of 18 and have access to a vehicle.
We’d also love to hear from you if you’ve got previous care experience in roles such as caregiver, care home assistant, senior care assistant, care worker, support worker, healthcare assistant, home care assistant, carer, care coordinator and care home worker.
As a Field Care Supervisor, you will be passionate about high-quality homecare and hold the highest standards. You will be a role model to a team of care staff and the role will also involve:
- Undertaking scheduled spot checks and undertake appraisal & supervision meetings with Care Professionals.
- Participating in the on-call rota.
- Support with new starter inductions and the training of Care Professionals to enable them to carry out their role safely.
- 20 hours care call visits.
- Be willing and eager to care for the clients to cover staff sickness and absence in addition to your own care calls.
