Job description
As a fibre surveyor, you will be self-motivated and driven with a keen eye for quality and someone who takes pride and ownership in their work. A surveyor also needs to be organised, and have great time management as they are responsible for managing their workload and meeting deadlines.
This role will be part site, part working from home/in the office.
The Fibre Surveyor will play a vital role in ensuring we deliver accurate and efficient cable designs to our build teams and effectively managing changes as and when required as we go through the plan and build stages.
The Fibre Surveyor will work closely with all departments across the company to ensure data accuracy and integrity so that we build to high standards.
The role will include physical surveying of fibre sites across London, designing and capturing a detailed route for the cable network to feed each address.
- Working with the Fibre Design Team to provide design clarification from site
- Provide actual measurements from site to allow work packages to be produced for fibre installation
- Ensure all client design requirements are met as per the specification
- Supply specific network information back to the office based Fibre Design Team
- Produce as-built documentation for completed civils and fibre work activities
- Provide photographic evidence of all completed civils and fibre work activities
Qualifications & Accreditations
The ideal applicant will have experience in the telecommunications industry.
GIS-relevant software experience is a requirement.
Experience in working in/around the cabling network.
Experience in FTTX networks & Survey processes and understanding of different FTTX Network

Demonstrates an analytical skillset to understand the full impact of changes on the design and associated outputs.
A full UK driving licence is ideal but not a must.
