We are on the lookout for an experienced Fibre Splicer Supervisor to help oversee and ensure projects are being completed in a timely manner, whilst adhering to all Health & safety and ensuring all works is completed to a high standard.
As a Fibre Splicer Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of splicing engineers and be responsible for the end-to-end quality of our fibre network.
Responsibilities:
- Workload allocation and prioritisation
- Training and development of splicers
- Ownership of the delivery, quality, and H&S standards
- Be able to be a strong leader with the ability to motivate and organise a small team of fibre splicers tasked with ensuring the delivered network is of the highest quality, delivered on time, within budget and safely.
- Be the central point of contact and owner of serious incidents within the network
- Supporting installation team and routine maintenance team with any technical issues
- You will be responsible for Continual improvement - relating to the overall fibre specification, testing regime and quality standards
- Identification of known errors and remediation plans
- Toolbox talks
