Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out risk assessments prior to work
- Install, splice and secure ASNs mounted on poles on city fibre builds
- Install, splice and secure FJPs in city fibre chambers
- Interpret job packs and fibre allocation sheets
- Install and splice splitters in broadband cabinets
- Photograph completed fibre distribution points both inside the closure and externally showing position on chamber or on pole
- Correct use of SLGs
- Carry out acceptance testing using OTDR, light source and power meter
- Trace fibre and rectify any faults found
- The role is principally working within a network installation team
- Perform any other duties as reasonably requested
You will need:
- NSRWA Unit 2 Signage, guarding and light
- NSRWA Unit LA Avoidance of underground apparatus
- IPAF MEWP Mobile Boom B3
- SA001
- SA002
- S8
- N23 (desirable but not essential)
- Full clean driving license
Salary:
MHG offer very competitive rates of pay. This is based upon relevant experience & Qualifications.
Location:
You will be required to cover all work in the North-East.
