We are seeking a skilled Fibre Delivery Manager to become an active part of our operational team, supporting the fibre department within a thriving telecommunications environment.
The ideal Fibre Delivery Manager should have a strong understanding of supporting and mobilising contracts from inception to delivery. This will take place across the South East, and will coordinate a number of activities across all main functions such as operational delivery, SHEQ, Training, logistics, street works, material management, job management system integration and embedding process in the business unit.
We would expect you to hold excellent oral and written communication skills, allowing yourself to present performance at regular meetings and develop key relationships both internal & external.
- Ensuring that the process is clear, and people are responsible for relevant parts of the process
- Identifying innovative methods of working to minimise waste on the overall unit
- Manage supervisors that will be directly managing gangs and logistics, with this job holder overseeing all functions to deliver approximately 5000 THP a month
- Regular client management and engagement to ensure we have the right work volumes in the program
- Creating reports and protect the sales and cost required to deliver in line with the budgets
- Overseeing functions in the team which include job receipt and how the site is tracked to completion, and track liabilities and waste to protect the monthly and annual results
- Line reports for supervision and coordination
- Ability to project manage a team
- Bring resources to complement existing teams
- MDU/SDU experience
- Strong communication/presentation skills
- Understanding of profit and loss impacts on accounts
- Report on performance from forecast deviations
- Basic IT Skills
- Telecoms PIA or BT background in contracting
- Good planning skills
- Commercial understanding
