Due to expansion, we have vacancies for Fibre Access Planners to join our team.
The Role
The role involves creating high level and detailed FTTP network designs for our UK Customers. You will also provide feedback to our Build team to help with forward planning and onsite construction queries.
Key Responsibilities
· Fibre network planning covering FTTP and FTTH
· PON Network Planning
Knowledge , Skills and Experience
· A telecoms background coupled with a planning background is required for this position preferably working for one of the major UK telcos.
· Proven track record of planning and delivering successful projects.
· Core and Access Fibre Network Planning experience preferred.
· Civils Planning experience
· Knowledge and experience of working with GIS systems preferred.
· Understanding of current health and safety procedures as applied to FTTP build.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office and being PC literate
