SIA (DS) Event Security Officers - LONDON FESTIVALS
London and surrounding areas - we have lots of opportunities to work!
Pay Rate for Festivals: From £12 - £13 per hour depending on the role/position, however, with holiday pay calculated you can earn from £13.45 per hour - £14.57 per hour.
We are looking to recruit Event SIA (DS) Security Officers, Response Officers and Supervisors to join our team working at a variety of festivals this summer, including All Points East,, British Summer Time - Hyde Park and South Facing Festival.
London is a key location for G4S Events and working with us will give you an opportunity to be a part of some of the biggest festivals this summer with headliners such as Stormzy, Pink and even K-Pop band Blackpink.

You could be inside or outside, on your feet showing people where to go, checking tickets at entry points, monitoring the crowd or managing the car parking facilities. Wherever you are, you’ll be the fun, helpful and friendly face representing G4S Events.
As an Events SIA Security Officer you will be responsible for securing the venues, staff and visitors for our customers. This may include:
- Carrying out pre and post event safety checks ensuring compliance with safe working procedures
- Searching visitors on entry to venues
- Ensuring that no prohibited or restricted items are taken into the secured zones within the venues
- Monitoring visitor / crowd movements and behaviour to identify potential issues or incidents and to take action as necessary
- Dealing with visitor / crowd disruptions
- Securing licenced / hospitality areas

You will need to hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor licence - if you don't have this you can still be considered as a Steward, so please see our other opportunities on the website. Our recruitment and selection process will include a face to face interview, once the application has been submitted you will then be able to book an interview slot at our forthcoming recruitment day.
Given the nature of the industry, we do need to ask some questions for security and compliance purposes, but don’t worry - you will only need to complete them once.
