About the Role:
The CogX Festival, now in its seventh year, is looking for a talented Customer Service Assistant to join our team in London as part of our Ticketing & Delegate Experience Team.
Reporting to the Delegate Experience Manager the Customer Service Assistant is responsible for delivering a premium customer experience for attendees of CogX Festival 2023. You will work hard to ensure the team are providing an exceptionally high standard of service across all customer services touch points - this includes anything from responding to customer queries to assisting with the smooth delivery of the event onsite during the festival.
Key Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for the Delegate Experience Manager
- Deliver first-class customer service for all delegate attendees
- Maintain first-rate relationships with clients, partners, and audiences
- Ensure that all customer enquiries are responded to accurately and in a timely manner
- To be customer-facing and assist with the Info/ Help desks and registration at the CogX Festival
- Support the Head of Ticketing & Delegate Experience on the execution of CogX Festival event where required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Must have skills/experience/attitudes:
- Experience working in a customer service role within the live entertainment / festival/ events industry
- Must be extremely customer service-oriented with a passion for exceeding customer expectations
- Be able to work well under pressure
- Experience working with computerised ticketing platforms and admin systems (Preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proofreading; a great communicator – with colleagues and customers alike
- Able to maintain confidentiality for sensitive information
- Excellent organisational and administration skills
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Have a passion and enthusiasm for the live events industry
- Flexibility to work irregular hours in the lead up to the event and across event dates (weekends / evenings / public holidays)
- Good knowledge of G-Suite (Required)
- Hubspot, Airtable, Discord and Live chat (Advantageous)
