Job description
Foodies Festival is the UK's biggest food and drink festival and runs festivals throughout the Summer months in fantastic cities such as Brighton, London and Edinburgh!
We are looking for Event Assistants to join us along the road between April and September.
You will be working as part of a small, strong team that manage the running and success of the festival. The role will include many important tasks so you must be a confident all-rounder.
Main duties will include:
Front of house (inc. taking tickets, issuing VIP wristbands, reception)
Managing VIP area
Talent liaison
Managing the Demonstration Theatres
Set up and take down of event
Bar duties include:
Set up, restock and breakdown of the bar
Pouring/ serving drinks (including pints)
Cash handling
Person Specification:
An all rounder! Can pick up new tasks quickly and efficiently
Positive and flexible approach with a can do attitude
Good communicator who can work well as part of a team
Experienced in a fast paced working environment
Confident customer facing skills
